A pricing template presents products or services and their charges in a consistent format. A useful price list tells the reader exactly what is included and when the prices apply.
Choose a product list for item codes and units, or a service list for packages, scope, and optional extras. Show the currency and tax treatment clearly.

How to use the pricing template
Step 1. Define each item or service and its unit of sale. Compare market options using product comparison templates.
Step 2. Enter prices, included features, exclusions, and any conditions. Review underlying expenditure with expense trackers.
Step 3. Add an effective date and review the list before issuing it to customers.
A useful customer-facing price list defines the unit being sold. Per item, per hour, per visit, and per package are different bases. Explain minimum quantities, included revisions, or additional charges where those conditions are part of the offer.
Keep a dated internal master so staff know which version applies. When prices change, update the effective date and the places where the list is distributed. An attractive layout is less useful if the quoted prices conflict with the current sales process.
Example and checks
A service priced per hour cannot be compared directly with a fixed project fee unless the scope and estimated hours are clear.
A price list is different from a cost calculation. Check that the selling price covers relevant costs and business objectives before publishing it. Track quoted opportunities in sales pipeline templates.
